Urban Wellness Physicians was built by three brothers who never really left Brooklyn — Salman Shah, Rehan Shah, and their little brother, Umar Minhas. Growing up in the streets of Brooklyn, they saw firsthand what it means to navigate healthcare in this city: long waits, language barriers, and clinics that never quite felt like home. That experience stayed with them.

After years of training and practicing medicine, all three found their way back to the neighborhood that raised them — because Brooklyn is home, and home is where they wanted to build something that truly serves its people.
